Terms of service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. What PassFinals is
PassFinals (“we”, “us”) provides an online revision platform for medical students preparing for UK medical school finals, the UKMLA AKT and PLAB 1: a textbook of condition pages, a question bank and revision tools at www.passfinals.co.uk. By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must give a real email address and keep your password secure. Your account is personal to you: one account, one person. Sharing login details, or pooling one subscription across a group, is a breach of these terms and we may suspend accounts that do it. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Some content is free; full access requires a paid subscription. The price is shown at checkout and billed annually in pounds sterling through our payment provider, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing year unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation stops the next renewal, and your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your account is different: it cancels the Stripe subscription immediately, deletes your learning data and ends access straight away. Founding-member pricing, where offered, is locked to your subscription for as long as it stays active. If we change the standard price, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you beforehand.
4. Refunds
14-day money-back guarantee: if you are unhappy with a new subscription for any reason, tell us within 14 days of first payment and we will refund it in full. Renewal payments can be refunded on the same basis within 14 days of the renewal date provided the service has not been used substantially since renewing. This sits alongside, and does not reduce, your statutory rights as a UK consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, bulk-download, republish or resell the content; do not use automated tools to extract the question bank or textbook; do not attempt to bypass the paywall or interfere with the service’s security or operation. The licence you are buying is for your own personal revision and nothing else.
6. Our content and your data
All content on PassFinals, including the questions, explanations, textbook pages and their arrangement, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. Clinical images are used under their respective licences with attribution where required. Your personal data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
7. Educational use only
PassFinals is exam revision material, not medical advice, and must not be used for patient care. Always check drug doses against the BNF and current guidance. The educational disclaimer forms part of these terms. We do not guarantee any exam result.
8. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but (except where the law does not allow us to limit liability, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence) we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you subscribed, losses not caused by our breach, exam outcomes, or business losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
9. Ending or changing the service
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. We may change or withdraw features; if we withdraw the service entirely or materially reduce what a paid subscription includes, we will refund the unused part of your subscription pro rata. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified on this page (and by email for subscribers) before they take effect.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you keep the protections and the courts of your home nation.
